infonia是Symphony的義大利語，起源於希臘文συμφωνία，意思是不同聲音的合奏 "Concert of Vocal or Instrumental Music"。
我們組這一隊樂隊的意思大概是一樣，用不同的樂器及方式表達出我們的意思，而歌曲也會以不同的類型去創作，為求達到更多、更好的效果。
Sinfonia comes from the Italian word for symphony and symphony derives from Greek συμφωνία, meaning "agreement or concord of sound", "concert of vocal or instrumental music". Our main objective is to spread our music through different arrangements and orchestrations.
Sinfonia is an indie pop rock quintet formed by Wilson on vocals/guitar, Bon on backing vocals/lead guitar, Wai on bass, Tin on drums and C++ on violin. In the autumn 2007, Sinfonia was started by Wilson on vocals/guitar, Bon on backing vocals/lead guitar, Jeffy (Wilson's sister) on bass and Tin on drums, we did not have any specific style of music at that moment. After several trials on different kinds of music, we found our music direction and we decided to recruit a violinist to enhance our orchestration. In 2009, Jeffy left the band to pursue her studies, and we recruited another bassist, Wai, who is another bass player in the local indie alternative band "Take (the) Bad with the Goods". With his bass techniques and musical ideas, we further enrich our music ensembles. |
